28.02.09

I figured it was about time to post an outfit now. Here's what I wore to and from work today. Except the boots, which I bought at H&M on my way home. They will be perfect for everyday use!

Denim leather, leather denim

Spring is right around the corner, and I can feel the temperatures changing already. I can't wait to dig out my light denim jacket and mix it up with leather pieces. A great combination for a perfect winter to spring transition.

Flower power

I guess that you, as me, might me sick and tired of last year's flower print trend. But Rag and Bone has a new approach to last year's trend by mixing it with black and leather, zippers and studs. Suddenly flower prints became interesting againg!

MK in white

Spring is right around the corner (hopefully), and maybe it's time to replace my black blazer with a white one. Mary Kate Olsen matches it perfectly into a winter-wardrobe with black contrasts and loads of gold accessories. Loves it!

Lazy Sunday

Just hanging out in comfy clothes, listening to music, writing and drinking tea... I love lazy Sundays!
How do you usually spend your Sundays?

Fringes

I hope you haven't gotten tired of fringes yet, because this spring there's more fringes than ever. Jil Sander showed beautiful, long fringe dresses. A bit formal for my style, but I still love it!

It was Saturday night

What I wore out with friends last Saturday.
Dress from H&M, blazer from Gina Tricot, shoes from Din Sko, clutch from Åhlens, jewelry from Lindex.

I love this:

This is so simple, yet incredibly chic! I've started to open up my eyes for Kate Bosworth's style, and from what I've seen lately it's very impressing. Can't wait to see more!

Black Balloon

I salute this day with one of my favourite songs at the moment: Black Balloon by the Kills. Enjoy, and have a nice day!

"Wherever Hanneli Mustaparta goes, photographers follow"

I was thrilled to see this picture pop up as I opened the style page Jak & Jil. The stylish girl who's been photographed both by Jak & Jil and by the Sartorialist during New York fashion week is no other than Norwegian model and stylist Hanneli Mustaparta. Her style is amazing, so yay to her for getting Norwegian girls onto world-famous street style blogs!

Givenchy pre-fall 09

Still loads of black, fur and feathers, sparkling dresses and tailored jackets and coats. And I love the parkas mixed with leather gloves, a thigh short dress and bare legs.

Fringe festival

I bought the latest issue of British Vogue on Saturday, and inside was this amazing editorial with Lily Donaldson rocking out in fringes. Enjoy!

Fringe benefits

These would be ideal for summer and a great substitute for last year's gladiator sandals. I think black would be the safest colour, but it wouldn't hurt to add some colour to my wardrobe either. Yep, definitely adding to my craving list! (which is starting to get pretty big).

Inspiration?

I'm going out tonight, but still haven't found out what to wear. So I'm in the need for some inspiration. I'm thinking all black, leather, pvc, lace, multi-necklaces... Not sure yet!

12.02.09

Today's outfit: Pants from Cubus, tee from H&M Divided, leather jacket from Primark, scarf from Vero Moda Vintage, and shoes from H&M.

A silky dream

Oh, how I long for spring! This amazingly chic silk hareem pants would look great with a white or beige basic top, a little fringe bag, white or beige high heeled sandals and a light washed denim jacket. And of course, a pair of Ray Ban Clubmasters and some personalized jewelry to top it all off. I'm definitely adding these pants to my craving list!

From Russia with love

I love the styling in this editorial from this month's issue of Vogue Russia. The whole look is absolutely fantastic! Everything from the hair and make-up to the Givenchy spring look in the first photo to the pinned denim-vest in the last. And last but not least the model, Darya Kurovska. She's definitely a current favourite!

From day to night

Yesterday I spent half my day at school and the rest out with friends and didn't have much time to change. I changed my casual day-outfit to an evening-outfit simply by tucking in my sweater and by adding some high-heeled lace ups, a black scarf and my precious Miu Miu bag.

Day: jeans from Pieces, sweater from Gina Tricot, jacket from Vero Moda, necklace from Lindex, scarf from H&M, bag from Vero Moda (gift from work), boots from Skopunkten.
Evening: jeans from Pieces, sweater from Gina Tricot, jacket from Vero Moda, scarf from Topshop, ring and shoes from H&M, bag by Miu Miu.

Staying fashionably warm

I have a feeling I'm not the only one having difficulties staying warm in this cold winter-weather and at the same time look chic. Am I right? We have snow now for the first time this season, and I'm in desperate need for some winter chic inspiration.
I will try to put together a mood board later today, but in the meantime you can get inspired by this lovely photo.

One thing I forgot to mentioned in my post about my favourite spring trends was the sweat shorts. They will look as good with a pair of summer sandals and a white worn-out tee as they will with a blazer and a fierce pair of high heeled shoes.
This is also a perfect DIY project: All you need to do is to cut off and then roll up the legs of a pair of grey sweat pants and you're ready for spring!

When bloggers meet

On Thursday I met up with lovely Bettina from the blog Style to go. We had coffee and baguettes while we talked for three hours about everything and nothing. We never had an awkward moment like the ones you might have with people you've never met before. It was great to finally meet someone who share's my passion for fashion. And like she said, it's amazing that we've never met before! I really enjoyed her company, so I can assure you this was definitely not the last time!
If you haven't visited her blog yet, you have to do it now. She's definitely one of my favourite fashion bloggers!
